Three weeks, one room

Before
The guest and craft room before the work started: a sloped-ceiling room with sage green walls, a multi-needle embroidery machine on a rolling stand beside the window, a sewing machine, an ironing board, a cutting mat on the carpet, and fabric offcuts, boxes and half-finished projects across the floor.
After
The same sloped-ceiling room as the studio: deep green walls, wood floors, a long white cutting table with a gridded mat on a round white rug under a drum pendant light, a glass-front cabinet of supplies, an ironing board, and framed pictures leaning against the wall.

Three weeks ago, this was the guest room. Fabric scraps on the carpet. The embroidery machine squeezed in by the window. Every surface already taken.

So we cleared it out and started over. Deep green walls. Wood floors. And down the middle, a long cutting table with room to lay a whole piece out flat.
